The Sleeper Awakes: Brighton Dome
The Sleeper Awakes is a collaborative project between Brighton drum and synth duo AK/DK and Richard Jackson of Plume Animation.
The team produced a live, audiovisual adaptation of HG Wells' dystopian novel The Sleeper Awakes, which was performed at the Earsthetic event on Saturday 28th November at Brighton Dome.
Made Better Media were hired to record the 15-minute performance using a multi-camera setup and cut a promotional trailer which has since helped the project secure financial backing. Key to getting support was showing crowd reactions. No matter what the project, being able to put people at ease and capture their enthusiasm is always handy!
